Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010.

This week’s topic is…

Top Ten Books We’re Looking Forward To For The First Half Of 2017

Gaaahhh it was so hard to pick just ten! But thankfully we’re just covering the first half of 2017 or else I’d be losing my mind from choosing which ones to feature!

In no particular order… here we go!

Emma Chase is one of 1-click-stat authors and having read the first book, Royally Screwed, I am so excited to read Henry’s story that will revolve around the matchmaking trope which is kind of like reality TV show, The Bachelor but with the royals instead. Sounds very interesting!

Kcee is waiting for this, too!

Jessica Lemmon is one of the new authors I’ve found and read this year and I am so in freaking love with her billionaire bad boys! This one’s the story of Eli Crane, sibling of Reese and Tag of Crane Hotels, and an ex-Marine. I got glimpse of his snob and cold attitude on the second book and I can’t wait to see how hard he’ll fall hard for the girl he’s not expecting to fall in love with.

Rebecca Yarros is one of the authors I highly look up to because she writes just so damn good! And after Wilder, I am so ready to meet Nova where he’s one of the secondary characters in the first book and actually, keeping a lot of secrets up his sleeves. The Renegades series is new adult romance.

Ahhh fuck yes another J. Daniels book and finally, another Bama boy! The Alabama Summer series is my fave of all the series she has written. It features men in uniform (hot cops alert!!) aside from Reed who knows his way with wood and that sort of stuff and CJ is one of Ben’s and Luke’s coworkers. He’s being partnered here with Reed’s sister, Riley. OMG this is going to be so much fun!

The series is a favorite of The Reading Belles. And we’re all eagerly, not-so-patiently waiting for CJ to heat up our Kindles.

I’ve bought the whole series in paperback because I’ve seen some authors I know read it and I am very excited to start because FBI agents and romance? Sign. Me. Up! This is the upcoming book in the series and I plan to devour my copy before this releases.

I love love second chance romances and knowing this is being authored by a Filipino author, I am ready to get my hands on the print edition! Check out the first book, No Love Allowed, and the second book which is an MM romance, No Holding Back.

Christina Lauren is one of my go-to authors because their books are really awesome. And this enemies-to-lovers romance might be my new CLo fave! Also, it’ll be published on my birth month! Eeee I can’t wait to read it!

I am convinced to read the whole Stiletto-Oxford series after finishing Someone Like You (Oxford #3). The main characters here are from SLY though I think the heroine, Taylor, has been in the series forever already. It’s good to know she’s being paired up with someone as cocky and hateful (lol no just kidding!) Nick. These two has been hating on each other since that book and I can’t wait to see how LL will bring both of them to their knees!

Ahh Kennedy Ryan, a demigoddess whose secret identity is author of feelings, angst and romance. She’s seriously very good and the emotions of her characters shine out brightly every freaking time in every story she writes. And with GRIP, I know for sure she’ll blow my mind and heart all over again.

Expected Publication: Summer 2017

After The Hating Game which is still one of my top faves this year, believe me when I say I will read every freaking book this woman publishes.

And a special mention because another top fave of 2016
