For self-proclaimed “mean girl” Kit Castille and the many women in the world…

finding true love is not always easy.

But what if you meet a devilish stranger who challenges all the conclusions you have built in the past three years?

What if you fall for him just before you got the perfect engagement, the perfect ring, and the perfect man?

What would you do before you say “I do”?

Before I Do is a hilarious, catty and heart-breaking read for every girl who wants the whole wedding production but not the responsibilities of marriage (at least not yet)!

Kit feels like her relationship with her partner, Johnny, has lost its ~spark~. Johnny turned into this hotshot corporate person who became busy and unreachable to maintain a relationship. And while Johnny was having the prime of his career, Kit wasn’t that kind of girl who waited for things to happen. That was until a perfect stranger came along and challenged her deepest, hidden emotions.

I love, love, love this book SO much! I don’t think it’s a love triangle but maybe almost going there—but didn’t. The story is so fresh and authentic! And while the premise sounded like it was focused on the high and lows of a relationship, of a very busy one at that, nope, it’s so much more! There’s the friends who we go to, who makes sense, family relatives who are so annoying and strangers that come in to your lives for a purpose. Kath did an amazing job at keeping things real while maintaining the bitchiness of each character (but not the hateful kind—though I kind of hated Kit when she plotted something so evil just because she can). The situation of each character in the story was greatly woven through the complications and hard truths of being in a relationship. Aside from that, I love how our main girl Kit became a rounded type of character. I was afraid she’d just become a flat one because of her attitude. And I think that’s what made this book more awesome—I saw a grown up Kit, though very little of it.

Before I Do is the perfect book for everyone who wants to enjoy a story that will dare your choices before you settle for a much bigger commitment. It’s so much fun, so strong-willed, very spirited and enjoyable. I like how the plot was very realistic, the characters believable and even lovable and the banter so wickedly on point! Honestly, I think it’s for everyone! It’s THAT recommendable.

The ending made me think who’s who but I have a feeling I know who it is. I can’t wait for the sequeeeeel!!!
