Waiting on Wednesday & EXCLUSIVE Snippet: Still (Grip #2) by Kennedy Ryan

I rarely post my can’t-wait-to-read books because I don’t really do that but I just can’t tone my excitement down for Kennedy Ryan’s next book???? Which happens to be more of Grip (hero) and Bristol (heroine) from her books, FLOW (prequel) and GRIP (now book 1)??? I mean… I’m telling you now–it’s my top fave book this year. I repeat: TOP. FAVE. Of the year. And let me say that Kennedy didn’t really plan on having book 2 because the first book can stand on its own, it’s complete, totally no cliffhanger whatsoever. HOWEVER! I think we pressured–I meant we begged–Kennedy to write more of our fave couple and here we are now! I mean as readers, we do want to know what happens now to our fave characters,…

ARC Review: Logan by Jay McLean

Series: Preston Brothers Book Two Release Date: October 1, 2017 Rating: 5 / 5 I voluntarily reviewed an ARC. As a kid, Logan Preston was a brat. Through his teens, he became the bad boy. Now, at nineteen, no one knows what the hell to expect. High school dropout, Logan Preston is a good-for-nothing stoner. A black sheep. A disappointment. The worst Preston Punk of the lot. Secrets so dark and so deep below the surface that the only way he can fight them is to stay high, high, high. He wears cockiness as a mask. Arrogance as his armor. ARC Review: The Learning Hours by Sara Ney

Series: How To Date a Douchebag #3 Release Date: September 26, 2017 Rating: 4 / 5 I voluntarily reviewed an ARC. He’s not a douchebag; but that doesn’t stop his friends from turning him into one. MY FRIENDS WANT ME TO GET LAID. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus, in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who’s going to break our roommate’s cherry? Him: socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: must have a pulse. He will reciprakate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551 The morons can’t even spell. And the texts I’ve been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I’m not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn…

Lusting for Covers, Couple Edition – September 2017

Romance Twitter has always been my happy place. Last night was not exception when a tweet made me realize how much my book cover preference has changed over the past months. I mean, male and female models are still okay but the lack of diversity and the seemingly same people over and over make me second-guess if I wanted to buy the book. Don’t judge a book by its cover, you say. And while it still rings true to other people, I have my preference and I’m sticking to it. Hence, now I tend to spend my money on books with couple on the cover. There’s just something so magnetic about crazy in love couples in front of a romance book! I am now "more couple in book covers…

ARC Review: Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter

Release Date: September 8, 2017 Rating: 3/5 Source: ARC provided for an honest review. Add to Goodreads A wrong number is supposed to be just that—a wrong number. Delete. Done. Do not continue to text. Do not flirt. A wrong number shouldn’t be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night…and you’re definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat. Because that would be weird. When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don’t follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he’s wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction. I’m not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number. But maybe… Maybe he’s the right guy. Amazon US Amazon CA Amazon…
